Kite boarding lessons (also referred to as kite land boarding lessons)
Kite boarding is cool to watch, and feels even better when you are riding.
It’s very similar to Kite Surfing, only so much easier and no getting wet or need for expensive equipment. In fact it costs about half the amount for the lesson, and the same to fully kit yourself out with all the Kite Boarding gear!
One of the greatest things about Kite Landboarding is that it can be carried out on the beach or grassland. Virtually wherever you are, you can get your Kite out and just cruise along taking it easy – or do freestyle tricks!
Kite Boarding Lessons with SBKites take place in Poole or Bournemouth, as there are many places that are just excellent for learning to Kite Board! You don’t need any experience at all, or any special gear, as we will provide everything you need to get to know your new sport…
All lessons take part with PKD Buster Soulfly, Ozone Flow and Scrub land boards.

A ‘Kite Landboard’ is a board designed to move across various types of terrain with the use of a Power Kite as traction, and allows you to move, jump and perform freestyle tricks.
Kite Landboarding is similar to Kite Surfing. Using the Kite as your power source and by resisting its pull the power is transmitted to the wheels of your board. By manoeuvring the Kite and board you will move back and forth, and can perform land and airborne tricks.
The Power Kite can provide enough lift to help you balance on the board and allows the rider to easily achieve big air tricks. Once moving you quickly speed up as the power of the Kite pulls you forward. Once you’ve learnt where to position the Kite in the sky and how to balance on the board you will soon start popping the big air tricks.
