Kite Buggying is a Wind-based Sport, and is a Real Rush – if you have never seen Kite Bugging, you must try it!
Kite Buggying can be carried out on the beach or grassland. You can just cruise along taking it easy, or progress to Kite Buggy racing or do Freestyle Tricks. It’s a little like Kite Landboarding, except that you sit down on the job! Whichever you chose, you will be well stoked – and you will want to do it again, and again, and again…

A Kite Buggy is a lightweight, three-wheeled creation that you sit in. There is no attached form of power, so to get moving you need to use your Power Kite Skills. The Kite transmits the power of the wind to the Buggy wheels, and off you go!
Kite Buggying is really easy to learn, as once you have good control over a Power Kite, you can sit back into a Buggy and let the Kite pull you around. When seated, you’re only about 4 inches off the ground, so the buzz you get when moving is great! When you get confident, it is possible to reach speeds of around 50mph (although you need a fair amount of space for that!).
Also, like with Kite boarding, the Power Kite is more than capable of lifting you up – so you’re able to carry out some great mid-air tricks. As well as this, you can make the Kite Buggy skid around, and even ride around on just two wheels, with one sticking up in the air!
