Snow kiting

Snow kiting

Well the snow finally arrived in Dorset and as usual everything came to a halt, but what a great opportunity to get the snow kites out to play the buggies, so we went to a local spot that is high up as the winds weren’t that great NNE and gusting from 5-12mph,we put the Ozone Pure up first and wow for a small kite in these winds it did really well pulling us all over the field (sliding mostly) but this 4mtr kite was great loads of fun, think we will be using these as part of our training kites for boards and buggies.

next up was the 12mtr Ozone Summit loads of grunt  and behaved well in the poor wind condition but like the Ozone Manta it needs a good amount of wind to really appreciate what it can do, but again we were sliding all over the field with little input from the pilot. look forward to flying it in winds of 15mph and upwards as this feel like it will have a lot of hang time when jumping. great session with both kites and buggies, will have to grab someone’s snow board next time!,
